Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed in a new report that Apple plans to launch the next upgrade to AirPods Pro (to be probably called AirPods Pro 2) with a new design in late 2022. Plus, he also said that there are going to be 3 new Apple Watch models coming out next year. These include the Apple Watch Series 8, a new Apple Watch SE and a rugged sports version, as per a report by 9To5Mac.
The tech analyst claimed that the AirPods Pro 2 will come with a “significantly upgraded” chip. As per an earlier report by Bloomberg, the AirPods Pro 2 will feature onboard health sensors for the first time ever, plus they may not have stems at all, made possible with a radical chassis redesign.
As for the new Apple Watch models, the Apple Watch Series 8 could come with a body temperature sensor. Some of the rumours about the Sports watch say that the watch would come with a protective exterior like a Casio G-Shock watch and feature impact shock resistance. The device is expected to be aimed at athletes, hikers and climbers.
Kuo had something to share about the next iPhone SE too. For the 2022 model, he said that it would have some minor improvements in specs with the same design. But for the next year, he went on to add that Apple would ship an iPhone SE with a bigger display and a more powerful RAM in 2023.
